If you can’t quite wait for Elephant & Castle Mini Maker Faire then we’ve just uncovered a solution for you…

The enterprising people over at Makerhood are running an event called Making Uncovered on Saturday, 20th April for 12 hours they are taking over Brixton East (Gallery) on Barrington Road between Brixton Station and Loughborough Junction, down Coldharbour Lane.

They have a programme of events to fill the day starting with demonstrations and workshops from 11:00. Then at 18:00 there are a series of talks and entertainment, along side all this is food, drink and products for sale.

Visiting is certainly well worth it, checkout their website and decide for yourself!

Who are Makerhood?
Makerhood is a local social enterprise that provides a platform for local Makers to sell their wares to others, a bit like a hyper-local Etsy or Folksy.
