Sewing the prototype bunting.

Today we sewed the bunting with some white cotton thread all the way from end to end, rather than just on the pennants. This keeps the bias binding tape closed and also reduces the stretchy ness.

Originally we thought that the materials might all be a bit light weight and slightly transparent but we’ve been reassured it looks good, so now we just need to figure out how to make them fire retardant and try to figure out a better way to cut them than using a scalpel, we’re ordering a rotary cutter to test it with.
