Maker Profile: The Restart Project

The Restart Project encourages people to use their electronics longer, by learning how they operate and how they can be repaired. It is a registered charity, organising “Restart Parties”, events where the network of volunteers associated with the project helps participants to learn how to troubleshoot and repair their small electrical and electronic devices, empowering them to reduce waste and extend the lifecycle of the products they use.

The Restart Project is developing a global network of community repairers (or “Restarters”), promoting repair activities in education and supporting new groups interested in running repair events. Join them and share your skills!
